Abbie has more than 6 years’ experience in the environmental planning profession. She has worked in both local government and the private sector and has developed a broad range of experience in all aspects of environmental planning, particularly in respect to water management and electricity sector issues.
Abbie’s experience in the electricity sector has seen her undertake project management for large multifaceted consent acquisition projects, including the consenting of additional thermal generation, and, more recently, leading policy and planning workstreams at national, regional and local level. This included representing the organisation and industry on national planning forums and preparing submissions on all levels of RMA planning documents.
As part of the Mitchell Daysh team, Abbie is involved in preparing submissions on regional and district plans, preparing resource consent applications, managing consent compliance matters, and providing resource management advice to a wide range of clients.
