Kirsten Williamson

Kirsten has over 18 years’ experience working as a resource management planner in both local government and private practice.  Kirsten has worked with and managed a variety of projects.  She has extensive experience in the plan review and preparation process.   This includes drafting of plan policy and provisions, preparation of hearing reports and hearing attendance.  She also has experience preparing resource consent applications and assessments of environment effects.  She has considerable experience in environment court mediation, preparation of expert evidence and appearing as an expert witness.

Kirsten has strengths in plan interpretation and implementation, with a practical approach to problem solving and getting results.  She has strong interpersonal skills and can successfully relate to a wide audience, including managing and co-ordinating multi-disciplined project teams and working with a broad range of people party to legislative processes.
