Kristy has a background in stakeholder and community engagement across Australia and New Zealand. Combined with her experience in resource management and policy development, Kristy has an ability to engage communities to develop and execute locally driven solutions to local problems. Kristy has excellent skills in stakeholder relationship management, even when the political context is challenging. She engages with people in ways that are accessible, make people feel included and that they are an important part of shaping outcomes, and she understands the importance of communicating complex policy in simple terms during consultation. Kristy holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Asia Pacific Governance and Development) and is currently studying for her Masters in AgriScience through Massey University.
