Richard Turner

Richard joined the team following a career providing in-house planning and resource management expertise for two of New Zealand’s largest water infrastructure developers. He has been involved in statutory planning processes and the acquisition of resource consents for projects throughout NZ, with a particular focus on water management and energy issues.

Richard advises a number of infrastructure owners and developers throughout NZ on regional and district planning processes, and on the consenting requirements for major infrastructural upgrade work.

He has also assisted the Environmental Protection Authority with the evaluation and assessment of marine consent applications under the Exclusive Economic Zone and Continental Shelf (Environmental Effects) Act 2012, and proposals of national significance under the RMA.
