Paul Thomas

Paul has over 33 years’ experience in environmental management, with the last 23 years in consultancy. He has been responsible for the successful consenting of a number of major infrastructure and urban development projects. Paul has also had extensive involvement in the development of resource management plans and plan changes. He has wide experience as an expert witness and as an Independent Commissioner.

Paul was also extensively involved in the recovery planning for Christchurch, appointed by CERA as the Project Leader of a team advising the Minister for Canterbury Earthquake Recovery on the approval of the Land Use Recovery Plan for Greater Christchurch.
